Message using lately? I got sound but no video and Win Media player reports an error trying to download the codecs.

:Here's the original thread with more details. The real gem of the night was member DrDCanaceu getting into the 10s with his HKS2530 powered Z. Greg Dupree had piloted the car to a 10.9 last week, but Dean's sole mission was to get one for himself...and not only did he do it once, but he did it twice with two 10.8 second runs! Congrats Dean! Here's the video of the run. No delay, no nothing...just lined up and BAM!
:Dean's 10.8 second run
:By the way, note the tires he's running in the rear. Those new Mickey Thompson Street Radials kick serious ass! Good for 10s, that much we know!
:
:And the slip for Arnel!
:
:A later 10.6 second slip with better conditions in Dean's Z driven by Greg Dupree
:
:Next up was Seb with his newly reacquired Sport700 beast. He's getting out of the hole like a pro and the MPH is there, but you can see the dips in the shifts from coming out of boost. Work on that powershifting bro, that'll be the key to 10s!
:Seb's 11.2 @ 128mph pass
:Another 11.2 pass
:
:Earlier in the evening Greg made a 10.6 second pass of his own before developing a completely expected rod knock after ~200 passes on the stock motor! Here's a video I grabbed from the stands of that his 10.6. The wacky guy at the end is none other than Glenn (Z1TRUTH). Good to see you bro!
:Greg's 10.6 second pass
:Here's another pass where Dean and Greg ran against one another. It's pretty damn intimidating lining up to Dupree and I can attest to this first hand (he owned my stocker and made me redlight once before). Dean proved that fact by redlighting by something like 1.2 seconds! ;) You might hate me for posting it bro, but it was a great damn run with two very fast Zs!
:Greg and Dean with 10.7s and 10.8s
:Next up was Mikey (WXY) in his stock turbo, 121mph trap speed Z32. He backed up his prior 11s with a bunch more. Can you say "hardcore"?
:Mike's 11.7 run
:Mike and Joe Porcelli, both on stockers Cherry Red represent!
:
:Last, but certainly not least, was a few videos I snagged of Ryan (Degredated) in his black TTZ. Congrats on the 121mph passes! Simply amazing car you have there! Unfortunately, I didn't get your 11-second pass, but here are two 12.0s at ~120mph.
:Ryan's 12.0 @ 117mph pass
:Another 12.0 from Ryan
:Some random pics on the day before it got dark.
:
:Greg and the gang checking weather conditions.
:
:Another shot of Dean's Z
:
:Got Labree?
:
:A shot of the short line to run. 80 private events are where it's at! Never again will I do a public drag day.
:
:Seb's in-car camera setup. Hope to get some videos from this in the coming events!
:
:One sweet looking Viper...of course, I'm a Steelers fan so I'm biased =)
:
:This thing was pretty damn mean! He parked next to us in the pits and it's pretty crazy to think that we have completely streetable Zs as quick, if not quicker than this thing. It ran mid-high 10s.
:
:There you have it. Thanks again to everyone who came out and apologies to anyone I didn't grab pics/video of! See you all on April 8th where I'll be gunning for 11s :)

...guess it depends on who is using it, the only thing I dont like is how big the thing is, looks funny - Posted by: Insomniac67J on March 11, 2004 at 8:59 PM
